My Story

I am 50. I have never run a half marathon before. What better place to do it than in Oxfordshire. It’s a city region which I am passionate about. I feel lucky to have lived and worked here for nearly 30 years. In my day job, running (no pun intended) Milton Park (one the UK's largest science and technology communities) I feel very privileged to accommodate so many amazing businesses do so many amazing things for all our futures. But all the amazement hides deprivation. That's why I am running to raise money for the Didcot Powerhouse Fund (administered by Oxfordshire Community Foundation) helping fuel better futures.
