  • About

In memory of his late mother, Oxfordshire businessman Aziz Rahman is launching The Komorun Nessa Fund.

The fund will help projects that support families and friends of those suffering from mental health problems in East Oxford and beyond.

The principal funding objectives are to support charitable and voluntary activities that:

  • Provide support and guidance to the families and friends of those suffering from mental health problems
  • Enable families to understand the challenges of those with mental health problems and how best to help them.

In the first instance, provide support to the communities in Oxfordshire that are currently under-served by existing services, or where there is less awareness around mental health issues.

All funded organisations shall be based in Oxfordshire, serving beneficiaries in Oxfordshire. Aziz's vision is that this fund will grow, over time, from an initial local initiative into one that can be used as a template nationally.

The fund is administered by the Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF) because we have unparalleled expertise in the county administering funds, but also in-depth local knowledge to maximise impact.
